directions to Stonehenge - Dave - 02-21-2020 I believe it was Hoss yesterday that mentioned trying to land at Stonehenge. I know I did it once, but could not remember if it was a Biplane i used, & I could not find the picture... Anywho, The challenge was (& is) land a Hurricane at Stonehenge and take a screenshot. (not so easy...) I thought I had it made, with a nice long field next door, all I had to do was taxi over & take a pic, but my plane sank into a bog, or quicksand or something... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReXlSnn652c So Close! If you want to try this challenge, take off from Old Sarum. AB22.6 fly north to Amesbury, then take theĀ road due West out of Amesbury. Stonehenge is approx at AB23.5 on the south side of the road Note: curiously, Hurri's spawn at Old Sarum with their engines already running... |
