Synopsis:

Took-off from Littlestone, headed to RV point (Eastchurch).

Left-hand holding pattern executed at angels 17 over Eastchurch, awaiting the assigned bomber group (LustHawk).

Fast took-off from Manston and headed to Eastchurch. We formed up, still holding Left-Hand Pattern at angels 17.

A while later - our assigned bomber group arrived at Eastchurch.

We escorted the bomber group to Manston area - turned South-East then onto the target - Tri-Fields area.

Our Bomber got attacked, which we did not whitness or see reports of - other than he bailed out and parachuted to the ground.

We believe we either escorted another group, after the turn past Manston (there were 3 belows us) or there was a collision - un-confirmed. I will take that as my fault, as an Escort.

Engaged 110's North of French Coast - damaging 2 maybe 3.

Fuel got to 10 Gallons - RTB to Manston for R+R.
