| Bio: | I am a (nearly retired) Refrigeration Engineer and family man (never retiring) with many interests to keep me busy. I have been a flight simulation enthusiast since its conception. Spent the past few years participating in simulated aerobatics and my interests have now evolved into combat flying (esp. WW2). I was recently introduced to IL2 CoD by a fellow enthusiast and immediately became hooked by this sim with its realism, gameplay and the friendliness and camaraderie of the TWC participants. I also have interests in amateur astronomy, paleontology (fossil collector), electronics and radio. Have been an amateur radio operator (advanced class) since 1982 with most of my operating time spent using CW (morse) modes of operation. I have trained many radio apprentices in this historic, but gradually outdated form of communication. Of course, I am also an aviation enthusiast with plans of acquiring my PPL (or at least my Ultralight) during my retirement).
