F.Name Jon
    DOB July 1953
    Current Timezone -GMT

Games Played
-IL2 Bos, Verdun-Tannenberg.

    Aircraft Preference
-Any, I like 109,s  But I don't try to climb the 'kill' ladder, I'm too old, I guess I'm about average to crap. I don't mind being a bomber pilot or a gunner or any other really.

    Personal Detail
-I like Model making, Interested in aviation.
I will take part and try to complete any task assigned. I just like the fun of being part of a team. I'm a carer for my son so I can't always get online to fly. I fly with VR in Bos. I would find it difficult to go through all the startup stuff like radiators and suchlike because I'm not that quick remembering keys ect. I usually start on the ground and simply start engine and go. I hope that's ok.

I like to fly with realistic physics, stalling and the other stuff like that.

Ex-Royal Navy Far east fleet on aircraft carrier. (Long time ago. We don't have a Far east fleet now). Two Destroyers in the Med and UK. Did some light aircraft delivery flying mail and goods (might have been breaking the law but just a tad) in Australia in the late 80's.

Welcome, I'm sure you'll find that TWC has but a few aces. I'm pretty good at "hard landings" myself. I'll forward this to our XO, be advised he's in Australia so he keeps funny hours. Until then here's the Discord link, https://discord.gg/sHYxwmW.
I'll keep an eye open for your name on Discord and hopefully take you through some minor SOP's.

I second the welcome....there are many TWC members flying in BOS, Cliffs of Dover and Tobruk Desert Wings with quite a few in GMT. As Target says........get on Discord and introduce yourself. Everyone there is more than happy to help.

Well, welcome to the party Pal. With that Navy Service, then at least there will be plenty of ideas for your fuselage motif when skinning. Welcome to the home of the TWC. Be glad to have you on our wing in BoS. Jump onto Discord anytime you want, BoS has its own areas within the TWC DIscord which covers two flight sims. THe boys will welcome you in. Target and I will get you set up and info you on TWC Flight Ops soon as we catch up with you.

Hello matey. Same here. I've been making steampunk models lately. No aircraft made for a few years now. I like to make stuff from cardboard or whatever I can lay my hands on. The ones here are made of recycled cardboard and other stuff. They're not great but I enjoy making them for my grand kids.

Hey Padre, WOW! Now that's what's called REAL scratch building.

I was going to build a Vulcan in my front yard. But the local supermarkets banned me from buying anything in cardboard boxes.

They said the rest of the world needs some cardboard too.

Hello,

I am fascinated in air combat. Lack experience working in a squadron. Looking to be part of an immersive experiencing, while having fun and making friends. Love to fly the "boom and zoom" planes. Willing to learn. Veteran of the US Navy served on the aircraft carrier USS Independence Cv-62.
Let me just say I have a lot to learn. I would like to train as a recruit.
