Refuel & Rearm in the TWC servers

#1
Hello you TWC pilots. I'm new in the forums, 've been just admitted here thank to Fatal_Error (thx mate!).

I wanted to talk about the refuel & rearm thing. In your "England 1941" server I can refuel & rearm using the server's chat, see for example (lower left corner):

The above images show the chat's server method. What about the "Tab key" method (the "radio communications menus")? In the DangerDogz servers, this works very well (it's in option 4, "Mission"):

But, in your servers, I can't find the equivalent rearm/refuel potential choices:

Any thoughts on that?

Our Tab Menu is different than DD. Just use the chat window. << works for fighters but not bombers.

Thank you for your kind response, Birdtail. Two more questions, please. 1) Why not setting a r&r feature somewhere in the Tab menu, same as in the DangerDogz server? 2) Not the bombers? How is that? Is this one rule in your servers?

EDIT: Following the tests I did, in the DangerDogz server, the Tab menu method works for rearm and refuel... and the server's chat method doesn't. In your TWC servers it is the opposite: the server's chat method works and the Tab menu method doesn't. BUT, in the DangerDogz servers, I was able to rearm my Blenheim IV with bombs. In your TWC server, I did the same test with one Blenheim IV, and this was the result (why is that?):

Hello again Birdtail.

This evening I saw you were connected to the TWC England 1941 server, same as me. In my case I proceeded to a few tests but not on board all the planes I wanted because of a variety of restrictions (among others... my rank, for example).

In connection with the server's chat codes : I simply learned that "<rr" or "<rr75" (or whatever number you choose, that latter useful when choosing a new percentage of fuel for the new sortie) are codes that refuel and rearm... including bombs. No need to type "<rrb" or "<rrb75", my Bf 109 E-3/B was rearmed with fuel, ammo and even with bombs simply typing "<rr75". Is this due to the fact that a Bf 109 is a fighter/bomber and not a pure bomber? If I flew one He 111 or one Wellington in your servers... would it be necessary then to use the code with the "b" letter ? ("<rrb", "<rrb75", "<rrb100", etc.).

Our code is all hand written and we have an extensive tab menu. It took over 4 years to write the 19,633 lines if C# code we have and re writing the tab menu is not a simple option.
The Game play in the 1941 server is designed to ease the pilots job in finding targets, doing recon, using radar to locate enemy and friendly aircraft, checking campaign status and much much more.

In the early days the refuel command was a closely guarded secret that was owned by 1 ATAG programmer that used the chat window  to re arm and refuel aircraft and was not to be shared so if you wanted this option in your gameplay you had to fly only on the server that offered it. Beg as we might to have the code shared the answer was always NO. So our genius lead programmer (TWC_Flug) wrote his own version complete  with attending vehicles ammo fuel and ambulance if needed and we put it on our server and let the entire world know the code..... So it will remain in the chat window along with the help commands as the Tab menu is evolving with the next integration of Tobruk this could change so stay tuned samr bat time same bat channel <S> Fatal

Thank you Fatal, that was a very satisfactory answer. No problem then, let's leave the Tab menus as they are. Regarding the codes we introduce in the server's chat, I'm learning faster now and I'm very happy with them.

What about the problem with the Blenheim's bombs? Is this a bug in the game (because of some mistake being made by TFS) or on the contrary it is a bug in your "refuel & rearm code"?

EDIT : hey, Fatal_Error... you may already be aware of this: Rearm Refuel Example Scripts For Cliffs Of Dover (theairtacticalassaultgroup.com)

The rr is great for fighters if you are not damaged. It takes a few seconds to input >rr100 in the chat window and you are off to the races again. I have flown bombers now for a couple of years and have never had the need to >rr a bomber. IF you even make it home damage free.... bonus, still no need to rr. You have fuel, bomb, escort, fuse delay choices to make before your next hour plus sortie as well as plotting your course to your next target from the field you are at or a new field that fits the mission and inputting your target co-ordinates so a rr input in chat or tab menu for bombers is just not realistic or useful. It's not a matter of anyone making a code mistake. You are more than welcome to come fly a bomber mission with us......that is if you are flying RED :-) you will soon realize that <rr in a bomber just isn't a thing.

Ok Birdtail, thank you. For now I love to fly BLUE, but maybe at some point in the future I'll change the side...
