I'm Coming Back Soon.

Hi Iron, the "permissions/groups" part of Discord deals with the access to rooms etc - no need for passwords once you are on the TWC Discord. I can't see you listed as online or offline - what was the name you used?

Hopefully we can get you up and running on voice smoothly.

Iron, it its good to hear from you....we were all concerned about your absence from the skies. You are on the mend now and will beat this thing. When it feels right you are more than welcome to join the small band of bombers in COD...........we can all help you get started with the Blennie............not that hard to figure out......then we all can go and raise a bit of hell in France...........

Hi Ninja, very many thanks fro your kind words of support, really touched by everyone's kind comments and they do help for lifting my moral as (like every-one else) stuck inside everyday apart from the one day when we go shopping. The roads remind me of the 1950's where not every-one could afford a car, so nice to drive along without so much as a traffic queue!!

Hi Mackers, should come up as TWC_Iron_Horse, will try again later this evening, if any-one sees me in the chat room one me own and all lonesome like, give me a prod!!

Hello Bird, good to hear from you too, I can fly the Blennie reasonably well but where I need help is when putting auto-pilot on which mode to use, either 1 or mode 22!! then it is the question of dropping a selected number of bombs as I know how to select all but when selecting less bombs, i.e. singularly from the bomb bay, cannot find a counter to tell me how many I have sent as best wishes pressies to the Krauts!!

Regards
Iron.

Haha, yeah, counting pressies for ze germans is a pleasurable exercise Smile  The Blennie has two bomb bays/racks.  Well, a bomb bay (internal) and a bomb rack (external).  On the bomb load out, you can choose different types of bombs.

An Example (2x250lb+12x40lb) + (8x40lb):

The Green bit is your "Internal Bomb Bay" Bomb bay 1 - It will drop the 2x250lb bombs first, then the 40lb ones.  So single release = 14 clicks to clear the bay.

The Red bit is your "External Bomb Rack" Bomb bay 2 - They are all 40lb ones.  So single release = 8 clicks to clear the rack.

The fuel is crazy large at 100%, 45% is about as much as you would ever ever EVER need in the channel map.  Often 25% is used for a channel dash bomb run.  I like 45% as I get shot alot and leak alot.  Confirm with your flight lead before spawning in.

Rather than start a new thread just to let you all know I have pulled a sicky! Having a bout of Diverticulitis for a week now and rather painful at that so hopefully when this damned thing settles down I will be starting in the Training Server for a couple of days in the Blennie, need some practice in bombing.

Kind regards
Iron.

Hi chaps, looking to coming back this week , have finally managed to get the Diverticulitis under control though took much longer than previous episodes, now to cap it all my Track IR is playing up sticking in certain positions i.e. when I turn my head to the left, think it maybe the sensor that sits on top of the screen.

Sorry about messing about like this but must be my age!!

Regards
Iron.
